Aspiration Images - Bob Shaw, Photographer
Bob Shaw grew up in Lane Cove, and then raised his family in several other areas of Sydney. He has been based in Kiama with his wife, Liz, since 2014.
He is a photographer of landscapes, mainly of the South Coast of NSW and the Outback, and from his Kiama studio produces portrait and still life images.
He has been a member of various photographic organisations including Castle Hill RSL Photography Club, St George Leagues Club Photographic Society, Cronulla Sharks Photography Club, Kiama – Shellharbour Camera Club, Australian Photographic Society and the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers.
In 2012 he won the Best Monochrome Print and Print Of The Year for “Focus On Me” and in 2012 and 2013 he was Digital Champion of Cronulla Sharks Photography Club.
Since moving to Kiama in 2014, he has been focused on the photography of the beautiful South Coast of NSW. He produced the media photograph of the Big No protest against the amalgamation of Kiama Council.
He was involved in photographing Kiama and Shellharbour World War 2 veterans for the “Reflections” Project of the RSL, Australian War Memorial and Australian Institute of Professional Photographers.
In February 2016 his exhibition "Explore The Kiama Coast Walk" featured at the Kiama Library and the 12 images and book of the same name are available on the AspirationImages.com
In May 2016 he took over the running of the Kiama Arts Trail, to promote the arts and artists in the Kiama area.
Aspiration Images also provides a custom framing service for photographers and artists as well as Art Reproduction services to enable artists to produce prints of their work.
